Our new smarter, brighter digital banking is replacing Civista's current online banking and mobile banking applications for a seamless customer experience no matter the device – smartphone, tablet or computer.

Attention QuickBooks and Quicken Users

The digital banking upgrade will require that you make changes to your QuickBooks or Quicken software, so please take action to ensure a smooth transition.  Conversion instructions are available below.

1st Action Date - June 8, 2021 before 5:00 pm EST

A data file backup and a final transaction download should be completed by this date.  Please make sure to complete the final download before this date since transaction history may not be available after the upgrade.

2nd Action Date - June 9, 2021 after new platform launch

You will complete the deactivate/ reactivate of your online banking connection to ensure that you get your current Quicken or QuickBooks accounts to set up with the new connection.

Conversion Instructions:

Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 3-5 business days.  Users are encouraged to download a QFX/QBO file during this outage.  The following services may not work during the outage:
  • Quicken Win/ Mac Express Web Connect
  • QuickBooks Online Express Web Connect
Please carefully review your download transactions after completing the migration instructions to ensure no transactions were duplicated or missed on the register.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your CB-Mobile Banking app will automatically update unless your device is set to manual updates. We encourage you to turn on automatic updates so your app is always up to date.

If your device is set to manual updates, you can update your CB-Mobile Banking App by:


Open the Google Play Store > Tap Menu > Manage apps & devices > Scroll to the CB-Mobile Banking App > Tap update.


Open the App Store > Tap your profile icon > Scroll to the CB-Mobile Banking App > Tab update.

Several security features have been enhanced:
Multi-factor authentication replaces security images and challenge questions.  When logging in for the first time on a new device, you are prompted to enter a secure access code.  Your secure code will be delivered to you via your choice of contact information on file for your account.

In addition, personal banking sessions expire after 30 minutes and business banking sessions after 60 minutes. A warning pop-up displays 3 minutes prior to the session ending. There is no longer an option button to continue a session when time is expiring.
No. You do not need to re-enroll. Your User ID does not change. You are required to change your password following your first log in.
We recommend you reset any account alerts you currently have set up. While some balance alerts may transfer, you have more options for alerts and for how you are notified. Visit Settings >> Alerts to review your options.
Yes, 90 days of transaction history will transfer to the new platform.  In addition, as you use the new platform your history will continue to build and provide up to 2 years of history.
The most recent versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge are recommended and supported, as well the major mobile browsers.  
No. You will not have to re-enroll in eStatements. If you have not yet enrolled in eStatements, we encourage you to do so. Simply click on the eStatements menu to get started.
Yes. You can access up to 18 months of eStatements.  The history will depend on when you enrolled in eStatements.
No,  Bill Pay will continue to function the same.  You will be able to Pay Bills and Pay a Person like you do today.
Yes. All previously entered Bill Pay information (i.e. payees, scheduled payments, recurring payments, etc.) remains in your online Bill Pay profile. No action is required.

Available Balance is the amount in your account available for withdrawal. This amount may include Check Protect funds or other overdraft protection program funds.


Overdraft funds may not be available for all transactions. Overdraft fees may apply.

Current Balance is the amount in your account reflecting transactions (deposits & payments) that have posted/cleared.

With your new CardSwap feature, you can easily update your preferred payment card on file in one place. Swap out a lost, stolen or expired card with Civista’s CardSwap to save yourself the time and hassle of logging into each service.

Your new digital banking has added features for an even more secure banking experience online.

Multi-Factor Authentication

When logging into your digital banking you now have multi-factor authentication. You are asked to enter your user ID and password, along with a secure access code. Your secure access code will be delivered to you based on the secure delivery option you choose – phone call, text, or email. This code will only be delivered to the contact information we have on file for your account.  You can choose an option to "register this device" and you won't be prompted for this code again, unless you log in from a different device, or clear your local cache that stores these settings.

Account Monitoring

Your digital banking offers you the ability to set up customized balance and transaction alerts. Get notified when a check clears or if your account balance dips below a certain amount. You can even set up recurring reminders so you never forget when an annual bill is going to hit your account.
