Fresh Coat Painters has been serving the Greater Cincinnati area since 2018, providing residential and commercial painting services to its clients. In just five years, the business has grown substantially and expanded into a second territory in 2021.
Fresh Coat Painters further cemented its commitment to the community in 2022 when it launched the Fresh Coat Cares program, which helps support local community organizations and non-profits. In 2023, they completed their first project with Revolution Dance, a non-profit organization dedicated to building cultural diversity in the world of dance and inclusion in ballet.
With Civista's assistance, Fresh Coat Painters was able to purchase a second territory, doubling the size of their business. Owner and operator, Fred Harrison, shared — there were challenges along the way – managing time effectively and wearing all the hats necessary for success. Fred's advice to other entrepreneurs starting their own businesses is to understand what sets them apart, understand their numbers and learn how to make lemons into lemonade.
Fred loves being a part of the Cincinnati community. He feels very welcomed and has been able to build strong relationships within the community. He attributes his success to the support of and love from his wife Jenna and Kids.
