Civista Bank Announces Employee Promotions

News Release


Sandusky, Ohio (May 31, 2018) – Civista Bank is pleased to announce the following employee promotions:

Veronica G. Doucette has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources Officer.  She joined the company 10 years ago in HR as a Benefit Specialist.  Doucette earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kent State University.  She resides in Sandusky with her husband Dave and their two children, DJ and Ashley.

Jason P. Kuhnle has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Director.  Kuhnle joined the Civista team in June of 2015, and was named Senior Wealth Management officer in 2017.  He earned his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg College and his MBA from Bowling Green State University.  Kuhnle resides in Brownhelm Township with his wife Kathryn and their two sons, Drew and Grant.

Robert F. Beekman has been promoted to Vice President, Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager.  Beekman joined Civista in 2003 and has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Findlay and is a CPA and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Kelli M. Lottman has been promoted to Vice President, Assistant Controller.  Lottman joined Civista in 2008 and has served as the Accounting Manager for the past three years.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron with a major in finance and currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Erie County. 

Lori K. Alt has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Compensation Officer.  Alt joined Civista in 1999 and has specialized in compensation for 26 years.  She attended Ohio State University majoring in education and later transferred to Bowling Green State University to pursue Accounting.  Alt lives in Sandusky with her husband Steve and their son Brandon.

Timothy D. Naftzger has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lender.  Naftzger joined Civista in 2012 and transitioned into commercial lending role in 2017.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. 

Pushma L. Vasilevski has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Project Manager.  Vasilevski joined Civista in 2011 and has been a leader in many of the bank’s strategic projects.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Cleveland State University.
