Understanding Compound Interest

¹Annual Percentage yield (APY) is accurate as of April 30, 2024, and applies to balances of $2,500.00 and above. The minimum opening deposit is $2,500.00 and money deposited must be money not currently on deposit at Civista Bank. This is a variable rate account, and the interest rate may change at any time for any balance tier. Current balance tiers and corresponding APYs are $2,500.00 to $49,999.99 = 5.20% APY; $50,000.00 to $99,999.99 = 5.20% and $100,000,000 or greater is 5.20%. Interest is compounded daily and paid monthly. Balances below $2,500.00 are subject to a $12.00 monthly service charge. eStatement is the account standard. Paper statements are available for a monthly fee.

Fees may reduce earnings on the account. An Early Account Closing fee will apply to accounts closed within 90 days of opening. Offer is limited to one per household. Offer available for personal, business, and public fund accounts.
