Lance A. Morrison joined Civista Bank in 2018 as Senior Vice President, Legal Counsel. Morrison now also serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for both Civista Bank and Civista Bancshares, Inc..

Morrison has previous experience in the banking industry having served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for five years at Cortland Bancorp – a $700 million bank located in Cortland, Ohio. Prior to that, Morrison had a 15 year career in private practice with law firms in the Youngstown, Ohio area, as well as two years as in house counsel with a Toledo based corporation and five years as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy's Judge Advocate General Corps.

Morrison earned his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University College of Law.
