Stephanie Villegas
Vice President, Commercial Lender
I have more than 14 years of experience in the banking industry, supported by nearly 30 years in sales management. I focus on helping customers with their business lending needs, through an approach centered on listening, problem-solving, and dependability. I am committed to building strong relationships and providing thoughtful guidance to help customers and their businesses succeed. My perspective is shaped in part by my family’s entrepreneurial experience—my husband has owned a business for nearly 20 years, giving me a strong understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and importance of small business ownership. I have also been active in the community, volunteering with the Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber (Chair, President, and Business Council Member) and Women of Toledo (Board Member and Community Outreach Specialist). I supported the partnership efforts of these two organizations to develop the NWO Business Mentoring program serving entrepreneurs in all stages of business. I was born and raised in the South Toledo and Maumee area and currently live in Maumee. I studied marketing and sales, as well as real estate. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, cooking Mexican food, and learning to bake sourdough. I enjoy life with my family, including my spouse and our two sons.

My values of honesty, loyalty, fairness, and integrity continue to guide both my personal and professional life. I earned my MBA from Lake Erie College and have remained deeply connected to the Cleveland community throughout my career. I am also an alumnus of Lake County Leadership and Geauga County Leadership. Outside of work, I previously spent many years playing old-timers hockey and coaching youth hockey in Mentor. Today, I enjoy hiking, travel, skiing, and side-by-side 4x4 adventures. I have 2 grown daughters and live with my wife on the Westside of Cleveland.
Michael Douglas
Vice President, Commercial Lender
I came to commercial lending from the other side of the table. Before joining Civista, I spent more than 13 years working with private developers and a publicly traded REIT, where I gained experience supporting the financial development of complex commercial and mixed-use projects. I learned firsthand what businesses need from a lending partner. As a Commercial Lender at Civista, I put that perspective to work growing and managing a portfolio of commercial loans; customers can expect an honest, personal, and trustworthy partner invested in their success. A graduate of The Ohio State University, I previously served on the board of the Columbus Landmarks Foundation as Treasurer and previously chaired the Urban Land Institute's Columbus Young Leaders Group. Born and raised in Toledo, I've kept deep roots along the Oak Harbor, Port Clinton, and Sandusky shoreline. Today I live in Columbus's Clintonville neighborhood with my wife and daughter.
Vince Pasquale
Commercial Lender
Every day, I focus on delivering the best banking experience possible. My role centers on building meaningful relationships, connecting great customers with our bank, originating new loans, gathering financials, and conducting ongoing portfolio reviews. Customers can expect me to go to the mat for them. As a young and driven lender, I have the energy and commitment to go the extra mile—whether that means answering questions after hours, staying accessible on weekends, or doing the legwork needed to support my clients’ success. Hard work and honesty guide everything I do, and I’m committed to building relationships grounded in mutual trust— earned, shared, and strengthened over time I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, and I now live in Novelty, Ohio. Outside of work, you'll usually find me rock climbing, playing guitar, or racing my four‑wheeler—anything that keeps me active, learning, and having fun.

I take pride in building real relationships with business owners and helping them find financial solutions that truly fit their goals. My approach is personal, transparent, and focused on service. My clients know they can count on me to be a trusted partner in every stage of their business journey. With 27 years of banking experience and a specialty in SBA lending, I’ve learned that strong relationships are built through service and care. That heart for service extends beyond my work. I’m an 18‑year Rotarian with the Stow Munroe Falls Rotary Club, Past President, and current Rotary District 6630 Youth Protection Officer. I also serve as Vice President of the Stow Munroe Falls Public Library Foundation Board and am an active member and Past President of CREW (Commercial Real Estate for Women). I was the recipient of the Woman of Impact Award from the American Red Cross in 2025. I live in Stow, Ohio, and love being part of such a caring community. Outside of work, I’m a mom, friend, and community advocate who enjoys spending time with family and friends, heading to concerts, or escaping to the mountains whenever I can. My mom lives with me, and I’m a proud mom to two adult daughters who continue to inspire me every day.
